Christophe Forget :

Christophe Forget was born in 1981 in Nantes; He began to draw at the age of 15. Branded by the Surrealisms, he invented oniric world where he can let his imagination growing. Naturally in 1995, he began to take some draw lessons and painting in his birth town, with Jean Christophe Cadou. No exhibition during this period, but a lot of work, especially draws and aquarelles. After, he did a visual communication school during 3 years, where he learnt graphics and informatics tools. Parallel, the discovery of a store gallery, the grocer art, gave him the desire of abstract painting. It was a new adventure where he experimented different sort of painting techniques. Actually, he took part with a collective painter, and an association of alternative music’s. His expression was a strong necessity of escaping time, instant and to reach a natural spirit of forgetting, making one with matter. This paint was the result of interior journey. The use of matter, drawing, organics, plastics, gave him some reasons of his journey, a direction, not to be lost and confronted them with reality.
